Iris Apfel was born 29 August in 1921 is an American entrepreneur, interior designer and fashion icon. Young woman, Apfel works for quotidienWomen's Wear Daily and interior designer Elinor Johnson. She is also assistant illustrator Robert Goodman. In 1948, she married Carl Apfel. Two years later, they launched the textile Old World Weavers business and lead to their pensions in 1992.
